Sarah Platenius's art has appeared in The Hopper Magazine, Camas Magazine, Scoundrel Times, Sage Magazine, and Wilderness House Literary Review. It has been exhibited at Federation Gallery, Reflecting Spirit, and Orange Door Gallery. Her work has been represented in a solo art show at Experiential Gallery, non-juried art show at Black Rock, and a collaborative exhibition showcasing female artists titled Woman in the Water. Her writing has been published in California Quarterly, Wilderness House Literary Review, Sage Magazine, Vancouver Island Poetry Collective and The Sound Range Pilot Project. In 2022, she received active status membership from The Canadian Federation of Artists, a juried award in recognition of her work. Sarah lives on Vancouver Island with her husband, son and daughter.
