Sarah Platenius's work in visual art and writing is an ongoing practice that traverses the wild, invasive and cultivated energy in each of us and the breathing world; a collection of field notes, tributes and signposts interpreting weather patterns of heart, politics, religion and geography. Sarah’s art has most recently appeared in The Hopper, Camas Magazine, Sage Magazine, and Scoundrel Times. It has most recently been exhibited at Federation Gallery, Reflecting Spirit, and Orange Door Gallery. Her writing has most recently appeared in California Quarterly and Wilderness House Literary Review. Sarah lives on the west coast of Vancouver Island with her husband, son and daughter.
