Sarah’s work in mixed media acrylic and writing is an ongoing practice informed by inner and outer landscapes. Her work traverses the wild, invasive and cultivated energy in each of us and the breathing world; a collection of field notes, tributes and signposts interpreting weather patterns of heart, politics, religion and geography. Sarah’s art has most recently appeared in Camas Magazine and The Hopper. It has been exhibited at Reflecting Spirit, Orange Door Gallery and is forthcoming at Federation Gallery. Her writing has most recently appeared in California Quarterly and Wilderness House Literary Review. Her other practices include meditation, yoga, gardening, and immersions in nature. Sarah lives on the west coast of Vancouver Island with her husband, son and daughter.
